An example
Sam has a 20-page chapter to read for Thursday. Reading it takes him two hours and he is tired at the end. Instead, he pastes each section into NaturalTTS and listens while the words light up. He replays two hard paragraphs. It takes 40 minutes and he remembers more of it.

Questions people ask
Is it free?
You can convert a short piece of text for free with no account. To read a whole book chapter or a PDF file, you need a free trial. The trial lasts 7 days and does not ask for a card.
Does it work with my school files?
Yes. It reads text you paste, PDF files, and Word files. It cannot read a photo of a page, because there are no real words in a photo for it to find.
Will the words light up as it reads?
Yes, on paid plans. Each word is marked as it is spoken, so it is easy to keep your place.
Can I use my own font?
You can turn on the OpenDyslexic font and wider spacing on this page. Some people find these easier. Studies have not shown that the font makes reading faster, so try it and see.
Is my text private?
Yes. Text you put in the free tool is turned into sound and then thrown away. We do not save it and we do not use it to train anything.
