Is there a student discount?

Can I use it for a whole textbook?
You can convert any document you have the right to use. Character allowances are per month, so a textbook-sized job is usually spread across a couple of sessions on the lower plans.
Does it work offline?
Converting needs a connection. Listening does not — once you download the audio file it plays with no internet at all.
What about scanned readings?
A scanned page is a picture, so there is no text to extract. If you can select the words in your PDF reader, it will work. If your cursor draws a box instead, it will not.
Can I use the audio in a group project?
Audio from a paid plan can be shared for coursework. Audio from the free preview is for trying the tool out.
